Food Wine & Wishes is an annual fund raising event hosted by the Oregon Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This year, it was held at Portland's Art Museum.

Make-A-Wish at Motocorsa

The Junior Board members of Make-A-Wish put together a fund raising party, Summer Wishes: Race to the Runway. This event was held at Motocorsa in N.W. Portland. Great food and drinks were served, and there was also a fashion show that featured clothes from local designers. The special guest for the evening was wish kid McKenna. She took to the runway with the models and later the showed all her moves on the dance floor. This event raise money to help make local wishes come true.

Mexican Riviera Cruise

After what seemed like a very long winter, Tracey and I decided to head to a warmer climate for some well deserved R&R. We booked an 8 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera with Norwegian Cruise Lines. We boarded the Norwegian Star in Los Angeles. The cruise began with 2 relaxing days at sea... giving us a chance to really unwind. On this cruise, we had ports of call in Acapulco, Zihuatanejo, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas. Spending about 8-12 hours in each port. And before returning to Los Angeles, we had one more day at sea... one more day before returning to reality. We had a great time... and these are some of the photos we wanted to share.

Portland's Classical Chinese Garden

I finally made it out to Portland's Classical Chinese Garden to shoot photos. The small overall size of the garden, made it challenging to get photos without other people being in them. I just kept moving around and managed to get a few.

Update: I made another visit recently and added some new photos. You'll see them towards the later part of the gallery. Thanks for looking!

2008 Chinese New Year Cultural Fair

Portland, OR. - Happy Chinese New Year to all! These are my photos from the 10th annual Chinese New Year Cultural Fair, which was produced by The Portland Chinese Times, and held at the Oregon Convention Center. This years event included about 100 booths featuring many local artists, vendors, and services. There were many great stage acts... including the Henan Acrobat & Shaolin Kung Fu from China, and the Chinese Opera from San Francisco. The exhibit hall was filled to capacity throughout the day with people from all over Portland and the surrounding area celebrating The Year of the Rat. Thank you for viewing my gallery.
